Its preserved medieval centre, shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, Gothic cathedral and the Palio run on 2 July and 16 August. Bookable products concentrate on the cathedral, walking tours, food, wine and countryside trips.
Yes, the centre is compact, but it is built across three hills. Expect steep lanes, steps and stone paving; ask the operator about the exact route if mobility is limited.
No. Siena is inland and has neither. The Tuscan coast is roughly 1 hour 45 minutes away by car, so a beach visit is a separate trip.
Allow about 45–50 minutes by road in normal traffic. Public transport takes longer and usually involves a bus connection.
Not in the historic centre, where restricted traffic and parking make it inconvenient. A car helps for independent winery and Val d’Orcia visits; organised day tours include transport.
